Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. Our website currently achieves an accessibility score of 92/100 on desktop and 89/100 on mobile devices as measured by Google Lighthouse.

Measures We Have Taken to Support Accessibility

Occam’s Razor Digital Marketing has taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:

Completed Improvements:

  • Color Contrast: Adjusted color contrast ratios to meet WCAG AA standards (minimum 4.5:1) for improved readability
  • Minimum Font Sizes: Set body text to a minimum of 16px for enhanced legibility
  • Alternative Text: Added descriptive alt text to all images throughout the site
  • Keyboard Navigation: Ensured full keyboard accessibility with visible focus indicators
  • Form Labels: Properly labeled all form inputs for screen reader compatibility
  • Semantic HTML: Used proper heading hierarchy and semantic markup
  • Skip Links: Implemented skip navigation links for keyboard users
  • Screen Reader Optimization: Excluded decorative elements from screen reader output
  • Responsive Design: Mobile-friendly design that works across all devices

Currently in Progress:

  • Link Distinguishability: Improving link styling to ensure links are distinguishable without relying solely on color
  • Touch Target Sizing: Expanding touch targets for phone and email links in the footer to meet minimum size requirements (44×44 pixels)
  • Heading Structure: Correcting heading hierarchy to ensure proper sequential order (fixing H6 elements that should be H2 or H3)
